What’s the difference between Cat6 and Cat6a?

Cat6 handles 1Gbps at up to 55 meters; Cat6a handles 10Gbps at up to 100 meters. We recommend Cat6a for all new builds — the small cost difference upfront is worth the headroom as your network grows.

Do you install fiber optic cabling?

Yes — single-mode for long runs (campus, multi-building), multimode for data center connections and short inter-closet backbone runs. We handle fusion splicing, termination, and OTDR testing.

How long does a typical cabling project take?

Small office (under 50 drops) typically takes 1–2 days. Enterprise projects with hundreds of drops or multi-floor runs are quoted by scope with a detailed project timeline included in the proposal.

Do you provide a certification report?

Yes — Fluke DSX-8000 certification on every run, delivered as a PDF report with pass/fail data for each channel. This report is your documentation for warranty claims, audits, and future IT work.

Can you work in occupied buildings?

Absolutely — we schedule after-hours and weekend work to minimize disruption. Noisy above-ceiling work is staged for off-hours. Rack termination and labeling can generally proceed during business hours with minimal impact.

Do you handle conduit installation too?

Yes, we install EMT and flexible conduit, cable trays, and j-hooks as needed. Full pathway infrastructure is part of our scope — you won’t need a separate contractor.

Do you work on new construction pre-wire?

Yes — we coordinate with GC and electricians during rough-in phase for clean, in-wall runs. Early engagement during construction means better conduit routing, cleaner aesthetics, and no costly remediation later.
