we are open

Most of you have heard by now that Houston is now under the order to “stay home, work safe”. This means that Houstonians can leave their homes for “essential” reasons OR to go to a job that is considered part of essential business. For more on what “stay home, work safe” means read here.

We have received inquiries since the announcement from customers wondering if we will still be able to complete work at their residence or set up any new service calls. The answer is YES. Multimedia Tech will remain open to receive service calls for the duration of this pandemic, no matter how long it may last. Public Works, Water, and wastewater services are considered essential services to the health and safety of our community.

Our office employees have been working from their homes for over a week now in an effort to minimize the risk to each other and our ever-important field staff. Our field staff is taking every precaution while running their service calls including but not limited to a zero contact process:

  • Calling customers from another room or their vehicle to go over findings and diagnosis of issues
  • Emailing estimates to be signed and approved online
  • Sanitizing hands, tools, phones and tablets before and after each visit

If you or anyone in your home have symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you let us know so we can postpone your appointment. You may reschedule with us any time after you have had no symptoms for a minimum of 14 days. Thank you for your understanding as our priority is to keep our employees and those who visit your home as safe as possible.
